A Taste of Florida’s Coast
After spending all day in conferences or business meetings, nothing beats watching the sun slip below the horizon on Tampa Bay.
At Oystercatchers, tables are cleverly placed around the restaurant so that everyone gets a beautiful view of the water. Don’t be fooled by the name though. While the raw bar really is excellent, the stone crabs, which are available from October to May, are not to be missed. The pink claws are served in a bowl with mustard and slices of lemon. The plump meat is coveted by Floridians.
During the rest of the year, their lobster is excellent. Get it steamed, stuffed, or on top of cheesy pasta for a really luxe business dinner.
