A Spanish Getaway in Ybor City
Nothing inspires admiration like a restaurant with real history. This establishment, which was built over a century ago, has enough life experience to fill a few textbooks.
Located in Tampa’s historic Ybor City, the grand Spanish mission-style entrance and fantastic clay fountains transport its guests to a finer time. Over the years, the owners expanded the restaurant in pieces. Finally landing at 52,000 square feet, the building is full of unusual dining rooms and sitting areas. Be sure to get a tour of the place.
Perhaps more impressive than the restaurant’s old-style decor is the entertainment. Flamenco dancers perform in a few of the dining rooms Monday through Saturday night. Not all of the tables will have a good view, so make remember to request the dinner and show when you make a reservation.

Paella Velanciana, Snapper Alicante, Pompano en Papilliot, and Sangria.
