Picturesque Dining in Vining

Take a break from city dining and bring your clients to this ethereal hideaway, just 25 minutes outside of Atlanta.

The restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful waterfront garden, where they sometimes hosts events and happy hours. On days with good weather, it’s not uncommon to see diners take their cocktails along the winding Chattahoochee River to soak up some rays in wooden lawn chairs. If the weather permits, be sure to book a table in the covered patio. Your clients won’t forget this wonderfully rustic dinner.

The chef Matthew Basford specializes in farm-to-table cuisine with an international spin. While the menu offers staples, like simple grilled salmon and New York Strip, it pushes the envelope a bit with slow-roasted pheasant and Southeast Asian flavors. We recommend ordering a bunch of starters so everyone can try something different.

Their wine list features a variety of small wineries at a reasonable price point. They change the list often, but if the Faust Cabernet is available, it’s an elegant touch to an already magical evening.

Menu Highlights:
Charcuterie & Cheese Plate, Georgia White Shrimp, Slow Roasted Rabbit, Roasted Pheasant Breast, Southern Family Farms Pork Tenderloin, and Faust Cabernet Sauvignon.
