Le Bistro

A Piece of Paris in the Niu Valley Shopping Center

Le Bistro is a welcome change of pace from the beachside restaurants of Honolulu. The cozy cafe is located within the Niu Valley Shopping Center, just twenty minutes outside of downtown. What it lacks in location, it completely makes for with ambience.

Chef Alan Takasaki opened the sunny strip-mall restaurant after working in fine-dining establishments in Europe. His beautiful execution of classic escargot, pork chops, and sea bass make this an ideal special occasion spot. Even if you’re not accustomed to fine dining, the servers are knowledgeable of everything from the menu to the wine list, and can ensure that you have a truly memorable evening.

Though it’s nearly impossible, try to save room for dessert. The Parisian-style restaurant boasts an impressive spread of fruit tarts and decadent cakes. They’re some of the best treats on the Island.

Menu Highlights:
Escargot De Bourgogne, Wisconsin Veal Chop, and Apple Tart.
