A Steakhouse Unlike Any Other
As one of the top steakhouses in country, this restaurant does not disappoint. From specialty Japanese beef to premium aged cuts, Metropolitan Grill has a steak for every kind of meat lover.
While prices are a bit high, even for Seattle, the large portions and premium quality steaks make you feel like you’re really getting your money’s worth. Many of their chops are large enough to split, which is a good option if you’re dining with a significant other. (The Double New York Strip for two, carved at the table is our favorite.) But if you can’t choose between their many unique cuts, try a few with their 4 oz. sampler portion. They also have an unusual selection of French, Italian, and domestic large-format wines. The 1.5 liter bottles are a nice size to share with large groups. Try not to dwell too much on the sticker shock though, it’ll serve a lot of people.
Reservations can be particularly difficult to get in the summertime, so plan a few weeks ahead. If you have to wait a few minutes for your table, their bar is a great place to pass the time. Order a martini, which they make in over 35 different ways. You won’t be disappointed.
Menu Highlights: Double New York Strip for Two, The Met “Long Bone” Rib Eye Steak, Blackened Prime Rib, and Jordon Cabernet Sauvignon.
